Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you buy a course, training place or membership from The Lymph Clinic Academy. Please read them before you buy. By completing a purchase you agree to them.

1. About us

The Lymph Clinic Academy is run by The Lymph Clinic Academy Ltd, Red House Farm, Red House Lane, Altrincham, WA14 5RL. For anything about courses and training, email training@thelymphclinic.co.uk. For anything about The Lymph Circle or The Practitioners Hub, email community@thelymphclinic.co.uk.

2. Your account

When you buy, we create an account for you on The Lymph Clinic Academy website and The Lymph Clinic app. Your login is for you only. Please don't share it or let anyone else use your course or membership.

3. Online courses

  • You get 12 months access to your course materials from the date you buy.
  • Course content, videos, handbooks, forms and downloads are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning and in your own practice, but you may not copy, share, resell or publish them.
  • We may update course content from time to time. Updates are included during your access period.

4. In-person training

  • Your place is reserved once you have paid. Training takes place at The Lymph Clinic in Altrincham on the dates we confirm with you.
  • Please complete the online modules before your training day or days.
  • If we have to cancel or move a training date, we will offer you another date or a full refund of the training fee.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Online courses. Online courses give you instant access to digital content. By completing your purchase you ask us to give you access straight away and you agree that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access has started. For this reason we don't offer refunds on online courses once access has started.

In-person training. If you can't attend, you can transfer to another training date as long as you tell us at least 14 days before your training day. We don't offer refunds on in-person training.

Memberships. See section 7.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights if something you've bought is faulty or not as described.

6. Payment plans

  • If you choose a payment plan, you agree to pay every instalment on the dates shown at checkout.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it is paid.
  • Certificates are issued once all payments have been received in full.

7. Memberships: The Lymph Circle and The Practitioners Hub

  • Memberships are subscriptions that renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose, until you cancel.
  • The Lymph Circle starts with a free first month. If you don't cancel before your free month ends, your first payment is taken on the day it ends. We email you before this happens.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account in Settings, then Billing. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops. We don't refund part-used periods.
  • If a payment fails and isn't paid, your access will end.
  • The Practitioners Hub is for practitioners who have qualified with The Lymph Clinic Academy.
  • Please be kind and respectful in the community. We may remove posts, or remove members who repeatedly break the community guidelines, without a refund.

8. Certification

  • To be certified you need to complete every online module and quiz, attend your in-person training where your course includes it, and submit a case study (and a treatment video for online-only students) that meets the required standard.
  • We aim to give feedback on case study submissions within 7 days.
  • Online courses are accredited by the CPD Standards Office and in-person training by the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Your certificate confirms you have completed our training. It is not a licence to practise and it is your responsibility to hold suitable insurance and to work within your scope of practice.

9. Health information

Our community content and member resources are general education about lymphatic health and self-care. They are not medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from surgery or are having treatment for cancer, please check with your doctor or specialist before following any routine.

10. Affiliates

If you join our affiliate programme, commission is earned on qualifying membership payments made through your personal link or code, at the rate shown in your affiliate dashboard, and is paid by PayPal. We may withhold commission on refunded, cancelled or fraudulent payments and may change or end the programme with notice.

11. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, for business losses, or for how you use what you learn in your own practice. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you buy applies to your purchase.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
